Chronicles of Nick

Chronicles of Nick

The world of the Dark Hunter Series is gritty, dangerous and dark which is why it attracts so many readers. No matter what books you like this series is bound to get your attention. As well as the Dark series itself there are also companion books to the series, like spin-off books and short stories.

Here we have Infinity the first book of the series Chronicles of Nick with the second called Invincible due out next year. (2011). Nick is 14 and just like every teenage boy of his time thinks he knows everything there is about the world around him....

"My kingdom is the French Quarter and here I reign as prince. Everyone knows me and if they're anyone, I know them. From the gallery owners, artists, restaurateurs and Voodoo priestesses to the psychics littered throughout. All are counted among my friends.

Now I'm not doing bad for a kid whose education is from the backstreets and alleys. I sweep floors in the doll store along with a few other unmentionable jobs my mom would kill me over if she knew about. I even work as a guide on the "Undead of New Orleans" tours. Everyone who visits the Quarter either takes one or runs into one of these tours passing on the street. You know them. "And on this spot something spooky happened" or some other load of bull. Heck, I make most of it up each night just to keep from being bored.

I mean really, demons? Werewolves? Gods and goddesses on the streets (other than those being portrayed on the Mardi Gras floats)? Vampires? Who believes that crap?"

...until the next his best friends try to kill him. Nick is saved by a mysterious stranger with more fighting skills than anyone should posses. Nick is thrown into the world of the Dark Hunters: Immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save humanity. Nick soon learns the world is nothing like he once thought.
A world where the captain of the football team is a werewolf and the girl he has a crush on goes out at night to stake the undead. But before Nick can adjust to all these changes his fellow students start turning into flesh eating zombies. And he's next for dinner.

Like starting high school isn't hard enough already Nick now has to hide his new friends from his mom as well as hide his chainsaw from the principal, and keep the zombies and the demon Simi from eating his brains, all without getting grounded or suspended! How in the world is he supposed to do that?
